It seems that Beyoncé's gig was not the only set that Jay Z made a guest appearance at over the weekend.
His fellow native New Yorker played a surprise gig smack bang in the middle of Times Square on Sunday, as a way of announcing her new album 'Here', out on November 4th.
Some of her guests on the night included Nas, Questlove and John Mayer - but there's no question that her performance of 'Empire State of Mind' with Jay Z was a show-stealer.
