The longlist for the BBC Sound of 2016 has been revealed, with over one hundred industry experts selecting a list of 15 up-and-coming acts expected to do big things in 2016.
Similar to the BRIT Critics' Choice Award, the list selects 15 acts who are bubbling under and poised for greatness in the coming twelve months. Last year's winners were Years & Years, while 2014 was Sam Smith and Haim topped the list in 2013.

The shortlist of five will be announced on BBC Radio 1 the week beginning January 4th, with the overall winner announced on Friday, January 8th.
