Although there were rumours beyond rumours, and rumblings that - quite frankly - they themselves triggered, it looks there won't be any Spice Girls reunion tour happening any time soon.

Although Emma Lee Bunton posted on Instagram with a cryptic message and photo of the group reunited, Victoria Beckham's now shot down any chance of a tour while previewing her fashion collection. In an interview with Vogue, Beckham confirmed that she isn't going on tour, nor are the girls.

"There’s something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like? We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming," said Beckham.

She went on, saying that a reunion is a "positive thing," and that "there’s so much bad stuff going on, and the Spice Girls were about fun and celebrating individuality. I think there’s so much that the brand can do, and it’s such a positive message for young kids."

While we're all waiting for them to come up with a reason to do it in the meantime, let's remember that time they took over Stoneybatter for a music video.
