Vicar Street will Turn Pirate this New Year's Eve once again
The Turning Pirate Mix Tape NYE Party will return to Vicar Street this December 31st to celebrate the end of 2012 and ring in the new year with a party to end all parties. In what has become something of a tradition now, Turning Pirate will unite some of Ireland's finest and best-known musicians for and evening of merriment and revelry.
With a house band composed of a combination of members from The Frames, Villagers, Lisa Hannigan's band - and many other special guests - once again the lines between the audience and stage will become blurred as Vicar Street will be packed full of musical mayhem.
This year's party will feature songs and collaborations from Lisa Hannigan, Jape, Rhob Cunningham, Jerry Fish, Gavin Glass, We Cut Corner, Cathy Davey, Neil Hannon, Steve Wall, Harry Holler and the Hooligans, The Tucan Orchestra, The Depravations, among others.
Tickets are on sale from this coming Friday, priced at €35.
