Tom Jones may have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with the BBC during his tenure as a coach on The Voice since 2012, but there is no love lost between them these days.

That's largely down to the Beeb's decision to unceremoniously axe the music legend from their line-up, making the announcement in August that Jones would not be returning and that new coaches Boy George and Paloma Faith were coming on board for the next series. At the time, he described their decision - made "with no consultation or conversation of any kind" - as 'sub-standard behaviour' by the executives.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Jones said that his reaction when told by his son that his contract would not be renewed was "I don't give a f**k. I enjoyed it, but if they don't want me any more, they can go f**k themselves."

Jones's autobiography 'Top and Back' is published this week and apparently sees him further criticise the BBC.

Don't worry, Tom. We still love you.
