Lady Gaga has spent the last year or two tending to her acting career, most prominently in American Horror Story - but now it's time to get back to the music.

Although she released a duets album with Tony Bennett in 2014, the pop star has not released an album of her own since 2013's 'Artpop'.

However, she has been working with none other than Mark Ronson on her fifth record, and it looks like we'll hear the fruits of her labours quite soon.

She has just announced the first single from the as-yet-untitled album, called 'Perfect Illusion', via her psychedelic scrolling website. The single is out in September, although there is no exact date yet.
