The most-watched music video of the year has been revealed, and remarkably, it's not Adele. Hurrah! You don't get to win everything, Adele!

It's not Drake's Hotline Bling (although that was surely one of the most talked-about), nor is it anything by Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran.

None of those videos managed to top Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars's 'Uptown Funk', which was actually released on single in November 2014. It has been watched on YouTube over 1 billion times in 2015, becoming the UK's fifth biggest-selling single of all time and has spawned countless parodies and tribute videos. Not bad going.
