The first names for next year's Forbidden Fruit festival have been announced, and it looks like the event is taking a more indie/rock slant than in previous years - at least on one of its days.

The War on Drugs, Grizzly Bear, Warpaint, Thundercat, Spoon and Superorganism will play on Bank Holiday, Monday June 4th. The show will be the only Irish gigs that The War on Drugs, Spoon and Grizzly Bear will play in 2018.

The 2018 edition of the festival - now in its 8th year - will take place over three days and the line-up for Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June are yet to be announced.
