Nothing better than when two legendary singers combine their musical talents to create something that lifts that high bar they've already set for themselves. Yes, sometimes it can go wrong (Ebony and Ivory has not faired well over time) but more often than not something quite special comes out of these collaborations that leave folk begging for more from the duos. Rolling Stone magazine have recently polled their readers on the 'The Greatest Duets of all Time' and have to say, there isn't much arguing to be had with their list.

First up, is the inimitable David Bowie and Queen with their hit 'Under Pressure'. This was not actually the song they had intended to record when they initially all sat down together, Bowie was actually supposed to sing on Queen's 'Cool Cat' but it didn't quite gel. Instead, they began a jamming session that in just a matter of hours would morph into the iconic hit 'Under Pressure'. Although they never did agree on who came up with that famous base line, and sadly, never performed the song together live.
