If you've seen 'Best Thing Since Cavan', Julien Temple's documentary about The Strypes earlier this year, you might have surmised that a second album by the young foursome was proving more difficult to complete than anticipated.

However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the Cavan rock 'n' rollers have just announced their second album, 'Little Victories'.

It's the follow-up to 2013's 'Snapshot' and is released on July 24th.

The period around the album release will see the foursome play all four corners of the globe - including forthcoming dates in Argentina, Brazil and Japan - but before that, they're on the support bill for Foo Fighters at Slane at the end of this month.
