10 September 2010

If you've been keeping an eye on your gig announcements this week, and boy have there been many, it will come as no great surprise to you to learn that after selling out their December 2nd date which went on sale this morning (bagged my seats by 9.01am), The National have announced two extra dates for the Olympia Theatre on December 3rd and 4th. Tickets priced €28.50 (Standing & Upper Circle) / €31.50 (Circle) are on sale now.

Meanwhile the lovely Imelda May has also sold out her Olympia show, and has now announced a second date at that venue in support of her new album 'Mayhem', which has just bagged the number 1 slot in the Irish album charts. She will now play both December 15th & 16th at the Dame St theatre. Tickets for the 16th are on sale now priced from €32.50.
