Further names for the ongoing 2017 Perspectives concert series at Dublin's National Concert Hall have been announced.

The Magnetic Fields, led by songwriter Stephin Merritt, will bring their '50 Song Memoir' show to the NCH with two gigs on Monday August 28th and Tuesday 29th. Celebrating Merritt's 50th birthday, each performance will have a unique set of songs: night one covering songs 1 to 25 and night two with songs 26 to 50.

Meanwhile, Throwing Muses musician Kristin Hersh will also play the Perspectives series on Friday, July 23rd.

Tickets for Hersh are €28, €25, €22.50 and on sale from www.nch.ie from this Wednesday at 10am.

Tickets for The Magnetic Fields are €37.50, €32, €27.50 (or €55 for both nights), also on sale this Wednesday at 10am.
