The Go! Team have decided to hang up their microphones. The Brighton dance-pop group confirmed yesterday at a Q&A session at Electric Picnic that the band was to go its separate ways and that yesterday’s Picnic show was their last ever Irish performance. The Go! Team released three albums in their 8 years together, including their outstanding award-winning debut Thunder, Lightning, Strike and are expected to go their separate ways once their touring commitments are fulfilled. Ian Parton, who produces the Go! Team’s music and frontwoman Ninja confirmed that they are leaving to embark on their own solo careers.
