The 12th Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival takes place in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal between Thursday 30th May and Sunday 2nd June, and the organisers of the award winning festival had announced that Rory's Band Members will be appearing among the stellar classic rock 'n blues line-up along with legendary Rock n Blues icons such as Andy Powell (Wishbone Ash), The Answer that toured the world for 412 days with ACDC, Pat McManus (Mama's Boy's) and more.
‘The Band of Friends’ featuring Gerry McAvoy and Ted McKenna as well as ‘Nine Below Zero’ featuring Brendan O'Neill and Mark Feltham - all former Rory Gallagher Band members will be appearing. Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon has won the Irish Festival of the Year Award for 2010, 2011 & 2012 for attendances between 10,000 and 30,000.
