Last week, young Allie Sherlock won a new legion of fans across the globe with her impressive and very composed performance on Ellen.

The 12-year-old Cork native had been invited to appear on the show after a video of her busking was spotted online - and now she's bagged a five-year record deal with Ryan Tedder's label, to boot.

The OneRepublic frontman and producer/songwriter extraordinaire - who has written for Ed Sheeran, Adele, Beyonce and more - was so impressed by Sherlock that he signed her up for three albums, as she revealed on The Ray D'Arcy Show.

She said that Tedder had seen a video of her busking on Instagram and flew her over to Los Angeles with her dad to 'collaborate', which is when she appeared on Ellen. She also met Pharrell and Charlie Puth while over there.
