Stagger Lee Change Name

Irish band Stagger Lee have undergone a name-change ahead of the release of their debut album.
From here on in, the Dublin blues/garage-rock quartet will be known as 'The Dagger Lees'.
They've also announced that they're to record aforementioned debut album early next year with Detroit producer Jim Diamond - who has previously worked with The White Stripes, The Von Bondies and Electric Six.
The album is expected to be released sometime in summer 2009.

Possibly to aviod confusion with 'Leeroy Stagger' an alt. country / americana artist of the same name who just starting to make headway over yonder in US & Canada...?
