One of the songs is called 'Piss On Your Grave'. We wait with baited breath.

Paul McCartney has previously gone on the record to say how much he enjoyed Kanye West's magnum opus 'Yeezus', indicating that he thinks the record to be the work of a very important and influential figure in the music industry.

Kanye, meanwhile, chose a different way to pay tribute to McCartney (and also to himself), by often unironically referring to himself as the 'Black Beatle'. Typically understated stuff from Kanye as per usual then.

It was perhaps inevitable then that the two giants of music would join forces to work on new material, according to Page Six, which may even result in a collaborative album between the two of them.

And yes, one of the song titles that Macca and Kanye are working on is called 'Piss On Your Grave'. We honestly can't wait for that one.

Kanye's follow-up to Yeezus is due for release before the year is out and the rapper has been "tapping up Macca for a while about working together" and that McCartney would be only too happy to oblige.

Paul McCartney is no stranger to musical alliances such as this, having fronted reformation of the surviving members of Nirvana in the last couple of years and stated in interviews that working on a project with Kanye or Jay Z would interest him greatly.

This would be hugely interesting for a lot of music fans to hear, given that it would represent a merging of styles from two different generations of popular music but any songs they release will likely be seen as little more that a novelty project from both - unless the songs are really, really good of course..
