Snoop Dogg to buy shares in Celtic Football Club?
Snoop Dogg was so impressed by watching highlights of Celtic's recent historic victory against Barcelona that it has made him consider buying shares in the club and bringing David Beckham to Glasgow for a season.
Snoop, who recently insisted that he's changing his name to Snoop Lion to reflect a new reggae outlook on his music, said to the Sunday Mail: "I've got a lot of interest in soccer. It's not a new thing for hip hop stars to invest in sports teams but it is a new thing for hip hop stars to invest in soccer teams. I see how passionate Celtic fans are about their team and I could see myself making an investment if any of the board wanted to sell."
When asked what sort of input he's like to have in the club, he replied "to be heard" and that he intended to "bring a bit of Snoop to things." Job done, Snoop.
Snoop 'Lisbon' Lion, anyone?
