With Boyzone due to celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2018, the Dubliners have been hinting at something big happening next year to mark their quarter-century.

While Ronan Keating recently insisted that the man-band would commemorate the milestone in some way, his bandmate Shane Lynch has gone on record to confirm it.

Lynch appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning to promote his new show Supercar Megabuild when he was asked about the anniversary. "‘Look, 25 years, we definitely have to rubber stamp that," he said. "We can’t let it go and I love the boys. I love being with them, we just have to work everything out but I think it’s great times for Boyzone.’

He added: "I think we might be able to take our own reins this time and actually do what we want to do."

In recent times, Keith Duffy has been touring as one half of Boyzlife with Brian McFadden, while Keating has been doing bits and pieces of acting as well as handling his newborn son. Mikey Graham... well, nobody knows what he's been up to. Mikey, if you're out there, give us an update.
