The BBC Music Awards took place in London last night, with the likes of Robbie Williams, John Legend, Kaiser Chiefs, Lukas Graham and Craig David performing live to the assembled crowd at the ExCel Centre.

Coldplay were named British Artist of the Year, which generated some controversy amongst some fans who felt that David Bowie should have won that award - although they weren't there in person to collect it, either.

Adele, meanwhile, celebrated the end of her '25' world tour with awards for Best Album and Best Song, although she also wasn't in attendance and sent Robbie Williams to pick it up on her behalf.
