Rufus Wainwright To Play Grand Canal Theatre 14 December 2009

Rufus Wainwright is to play Dublin's new Grand Canal Theatre on April 28th.

Wainwright recently finished recording his sixth studio album, the follow up to 2007's 'Release The Stars', and is set to bring his 'Prima Donna' opera to London's Sadker's Well theatre from April 12th to 17th.

The Grand Canal Theatre is to open in March 2010 with acts like Ronan Keating, Paul Brady, Josh Ritter and Randy Newman already confirmed to play the new 2100 capacity theatre in Dublin's Docklands.

Tickets for Rufus Wainwright will be priced €40.20-€44.20 and go on sale this Friday December 18th at 9am.
