Rihanna Gets Loud This November
07 September 2010Rihanna has completed work on the follow up to last year's hit album 'Rated R'. Her fifth album overall, the simply titled 'Loud' has yet to be given an official release date but is slated for November 2010. The Barbadian R&B star spoke about the album during an online chat with fans on her official website.
"I'm done recording the whole album ... I didn’t want to go backward and remake Good Girl Gone Bad. I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it’s perfect for us."
Rihanna also suggested the new record will be an improvement on her previous releases.
"I'm gonna miss the Rated R era too, but NOTHING compares to the album I just made."
Lead single, 'Only Girl (In The World)' is due to premiere on US radio tomorrow (Sept 8th) and will no doubt make its way out into the world via less than legitimate online channels soon afterward. Looking forward to hearing it!
