Richard Wright RIP
Richard Wright, founding member of Pink Floyd, has died.
The keyboardist, who formed the band in 1965 with Roger Waters and Syd Barrett, passed away yesterday after a 'short struggle with cancer'.
Wright contributed several songs to the band's early material, but is probably best known for his song 'The Great Gig In the Sky' from their 1973 album 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
He was 65.
