Rapper Rick Ross was arrested yesterday morning near his home in Atlanta, Georgia and has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Ross - who has worked with everyone from Jay Z to Snoop Dogg, Pharrell and John Legend over the years, and who has a longstanding feud with 50 Cent - was arrested with his bodyguard Nadrian James. It is alleged that the pair forced a man into a guesthouse before beating him over the head with a gun earlier this month. He has been denied bail.
Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, has regularly been in trouble with the law over the years for drugs and weapons charges, and in 2013 was the target of a drive-by shooting which saw him escape injury but crash his car.
