Radiohead's Colin Greenwood has said that a new Radiohead album is in the works, but work won't begin in proper until the end of the summer.

"We're taking some time out whilst people are doing some other stuff, doing their own things, and the plan is to get back together again[at the] end of the summer", Greenwood told BBC 6Music.

The "other stuff" that Greenwood is talking about above includes Thom Yorke's Atoms For Peace side project, whose first album will be released at the end of the month.

This will be the first Radiohead release since their eighth album The King of Limbs was released in 2011, but the Oxford band have been recording occasionally since then. Last summer the band laid down a new track at Jack White's Nashville studio before playing the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
