Today, November 17th, marks what would have been Jeff Buckley's 50th birthday.

The musician died in May 1997 at the age of 30, after accidentally drowning while swimming in Wolf River Harbor in Memphis. At the time, Buckley had only released one studio album, 'Grace' – but was working on his second album, tentatively titled 'My Sweetheart, the Drunk' (the unfinished album was later released as 'Sketches for My Sweetheart, the Drunk'.)

To celebrate his birthday, we've rounded up a selection of his best-known songs and also opened up a poll for you to vote for your favourite.
