With just over a month to go until one of Ireland's most unique festivals takes place in the beautiful town of Bundoran, Co. Donegal, it's only right that we get ourselves in the right frame of mind.

This year's Sea Sessions (June 24th - 26th) line-up has an eclectic array of guests drawn from both the Irish and international scenes – which means that after a day frolicking in the waves, your energy levels will be repleted with some fantastic music to keep you bopping at night.

Below, you'll find a selection of ten of the best tracks from this year's programme to get you feeling the Sea Sessions vibe.

1. PRIMAL SCREAM – 'Movin' On Up'

Taken from the Scottish band's seminal 1991 album 'Screamadelica', this tune can ignite a festival crowd like few other songs, 25 years after its release.

2. TINIE TEMPAH – 'Pass Out'

This tune won both a BRIT Award and an Ivor Novello Award for the London rapper – but as well as being a well-crafted song, it is also what young people refer to as a 'banging choon'. Man.

3. GAVIN JAMES – 'Say Hello'

The Dubliner has taken the world by storm over the past couple of years, and it all began with this song. Gavin James's first single is still one of his best – a happy, bittersweet little singalong ditty with a soaring chorus.

4. DJ YODA – 'Wheels'

Known as Duncan Beiney to the taxman, DJ Yoda has spent the best part of the last two decades perfecting his art in turntabling, cutting and pasting and sampling. This track is one of his best-known numbers – heck, if he can make Level 42 sound cool, what else can he do?

5. MARK MCCABE – 'Maniac 2000'

It has to be done – and you know you'll be there, arms aloft, when it happens. The dance anthem for a generation of Irish people is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Don't try to resist, just go with it. You'll thank us later.

**

6. SUNSET SONS - 'Remember'

Some of them are Australian, some of them are English, and they met and formed in France. Sunset Sons have a background in surfing, too – so you can expect the indie-rockers to drop a few tips for catching waves, in-between songs like this.

**

7. DJ HYPE –
'Ready or Not (Drum 'n' Bass remix)

Kevin Ford has been around for over twenty years in his DJ Hype guise, leading the UK's drum n' bass movement in the early to mid 1990s. His remixing prowess knows no bounds, but this – his twist on the Fugees' track – is one of our favourites.

**

8. HAM SANDWICH – 'Illuminate'

The Kells band's third album 'Stories from the Surface' has been their most successful to date, and it's not difficult to see why when they keep pulling happy little tunes like this out of the bag. It's upbeat, it's melodic, it twinkles in all the right places. Perfect festival fodder.

**

8. BAD MANNERS – 'Lip Up, Fatty'

We told you the line-up was diverse. The ska band from London are celebrating forty years in business in 2016 – so if you want to hear some solid ska and 2-tone tunes from Buster Bloodvessel and co., this is a good start.

**

9. 99 SOULS - 'The Girl is Mine'

Yeah, you'll definitely know this song – but the English house band put their own stamp on Brandy & Monica's r&b classic, mashing it up with Destiny's Child's 'Girl', which proved a big hit earlier this year.

**

10. DAITHÍ – 'Chameleon Life'

Galway native Daithí Ó Dronaí has become an Irish festival favourite in recent years with his brand of soulful, energetic dance music. This is one of his best tunes and is guaranteed to get the marquee hopping when he rolls into Sea Sessions.
