It seems that Noel Gallagher is not one for sentimentality - certainly not where Oasis are concerned, anyway.
Gallagher is selling off over fifty items used by the band over the years, including various custom amps, instruments and studio equipment - as well as equipment used by Oasis on tour over the years and 'other pieces direct from Noel's personal collection used at different points of his recording and touring career."
He's selling it on music site Reverb from October 2nd and told the site: "When you’ve been playing as long as I have, you tend to amass a huge amount of gear, and it’s not doing me or anyone else any good if it’s just sitting around. These pieces have a lot history, but they’re still very playable — I’d love to get them into the hands of someone who will put them to good use."
