One of Northern Ireland's finest musicians Duke Special will return with a new album later this year.

The follow-up to 2015's 'Look Out Machines!' is called 'Hallow' and is based on the work of Belfast poet Michael Longley, which he claims is "full of gentleness, honesty, mischief and love, and peppered with a cast of artists, animals, flowers, friends and long forgotten soldiers".

'Hallow' will be released on October 6th but is available for pre-order now from his new website Advocate, which will allow fans to access exclusive content online.

The newly-bearded musician will also embark on a nationwide tour in October to promote the record.
