The Meteor Camden Crawl returned to our capital city last night, with a host of performances taking place across more than 15 venues in the city. Entertainment.ie were playing host at Upstairs at Whelan's, where DOGS, Croupier and The Casanova Wave were on the bill.

The Camden Crawl has been taking place in London since the middle of the 90’s but this weekend is only the second time that the festival has transplanted itself out of its spiritual home to other shores. Dublin is a great city for city-based music festivals like this, as well as Hard Working Class Heroes, evidenced by both the vibrancy of acts on offer and the suitability and proximity of its venues.

The first night of Camden Crawl saw performances from both Ireland and abroad, with local favourites Fight Like Apes, Heathers, The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock mingling with acts from further afield such as Liverpool's Echo and the Bunnymen and Paris' We Were Evergreen.

Entertainment.ie will once again be at the helm of tonight’s bill at Upstairs at Whelan’s where you’ll see shows from VerseChorusVerse, Bouts, Eagulls and We Were Evergreen (one of the band’s working overtime this year!).

We’ll have a full weekend review for you by lunchtime on Bank Holiday Monday. Happy crawlin'!
