He never had a dream come true... until the day someone bid £66,100 for a BRIT Award he won in 2002.

Although it may have seemed like S Club 7 member Paul Cattermole was reaching for the stars by listing his 'Best Newcomer' award from 2000 on the auction site, nobody was more surprised than he when it sold for that huge sum the other day.

Now, he has listed his only other BRIT Award - which he and his bandmates won in 2002 when 'Don't Stop Movin' won 'Best Single' - on eBay and bids are already at almost £66,000 (€74,800) at time of writing, with over 7 days until bidding stops. The listing reads: "Due to a highly successful sale earlier on today of Paul’s “ best Newcomer” Brit award which received an unprecedented amount of interest from all over the world. Paul is delighted to put for Up for auction his 2nd and final Brit Award for "Best Single 2002”, to give any prospective bidders and fans who missed out on the Previous auction, a chance of owning one of the most prestigious awards in the Music Industry."

Cattermole told BBC: "I don't want the other members to think that I am dissing the band by selling it but there are bills to pay. It's time to let the past be the past. S Club 7 was one of the best things I've ever been involved in, I really miss those guys."

He took to Twitter to share his astonishment...
