Patti Smith, Grandaddy, Richard Hawley and more added to Electric Picnic line-up

Several new names have been added to the line-up for this year's Electric Picnic festival, which takes place in its usual home of Stadbally, Co Laois from August 31st to September 2nd.

The new additions to the bill are Patti Smith, Richard Hawley, Crystal Castles, SBTRKT, Grandaddy, Squarepusher, The Maccabees, Gavin Friday, Van Dyke Parks, Michael Kiwanuka, The Jezabels, Dublin Gospel Choir, Eagle and the Worm and In Tua Nua.

These will join the likes of the previously announced The Cure, The Killers, Elbow, Sigur Ros, Orbital, Hot Chip, The xx and more.

Tickets for Electric Picnic 2012 are still available and are priced at €230 for a weekend camping pass. More info on www.electricpicnic.ie
