Noel Gallagher hopes for Damon Albarn collaboration

This is certainly news that we wouldn't have expected to see in 1996 in the height of the Blur v Oasis wobble but Noel Gallagher has opened the door to a possible collaboration with nemesis-turned-friend Damon Albarn of Blur.

The pair, who have heated up their once famously frosty relationship, were seated together at the recent Brit Awards and Gallagher said of his former foe: "I shared a table with Damon. I could see us collaborating in the future, why not? Maybe at next year's Brits."

Albarn, too, showed that he has put the Blur and Oasis rivalry behind him. "Noel's a great laugh, I love him", he said.

This isn't the first time that Noel has spoken of his newfound fondness for Albarn and Blur. As recently as last December, Noel laid some seeds for a potential collaboration.

We wonder what Liam would make of these newfound buddies?
