Remember those rumours floating around the 'net that Noel Gallagher was to write and perform the theme to the upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall? Well, unfortunately, they have proved to be nothing more than rumours, as Noel wrote on his website: " I don't know where you've seen a story that's doing the rounds about me being offered the job of penning the tune for the new James Bond film? Apparently I'm being courted by '007 bosses!' A meeting 'will be taking place in the next few days'. With some guy called "Michael G. Wilson" (whoever he is)!"
To be honest, the actual indentity of the person who will record the theme song is up in the air, with Adele and Michael Buble already having been linked to the gig.
Does anyone really care, though? That's the real question..
