Nick Olivieri reunites with Queens of the Stone Age

Olivieri

Nick Olivieri will team up once again with Queens of the Stone Age for their forthcoming album. The bassist was fired from the group in 2004 after allegations of domestic violence were made against him but he is said to contribute vocals to the new QOTSA album.

All this just a few months after Olivieri avoided a jail sentence for violence, firearm and drugs charges, with 200 hours community service and 52 weeks of anger management sessions.

Elsewhere, Trent Reznor and Dave Grohl have both confirmed their involvement in the record with the latter replacing former QOTSA sticksman Joey Castillo.
