Conor Oberst has revealed details of his long awaited upcoming Bright Eyes album. Titled 'The People's Key', the record is set for release in Ireland on February 11th and is rumoured to be Obert's last under the Bright Eyes moniker.

Though Oberst has released a number of records over the last few years, among them solo albums, albums with the Mystic Valley Band and Monsters of Folk, this will be his first record as Bright Eyes since 2007's underwhelming 'Cassadaga'. This time round the band is made up of Oberst, Nathaniel Walcott and Bright Eyes regular and Monsters of Folk bandmate Mike Mogis, while guest appearances have been made by members of Cursive, the Faint, the Mynabirds, Now It's Overhead, Autolux, and the Berg Sans Nipple. 'The People's Key' was recorded in the band's ARC Studios in Omaha and was produced and co-engineered by Mogis.

It's a little difficult to get excited about this one since, let's face it, Oberst hasn't released a decent record since 2005's sister albums 'I'm Wide Awake It's Morning' and 'Digital Ash In A Digital Urn'. Still, we live in hope.

The tracklist for The People's Key is as follows:
01 Firewall
02 Shell Games
03 Jejune Stars
04 Approximate Sunlight
05 Haile Selassie
06 A Machine Spiritual (In the People's Key)
07 Triple Spiral
08 Beginner's Mind
09 Ladder Song
10 One for You, One for Me
