Members of metal band Baroness injured in tour bus accident in UK
Members of US metal band Baroness were among the injured when their tour bus crashed and fell 30 feet from an embankment near Bath in the UK last night during torrential rain.
Two of the injured suffered multiple fractures and were subsequently freed by firefighters. A further seven were treated for minor injuries.
The band had played a venue in Briston called The Fleece on Tuesday evening and were making their way to Southampton for a subsequent performance.
A representative of Baroness released a statement, saying: "it is with great regret that we have to inform you that Baroness were involved in a very serious road accident earlier today and will not be able to perform at Talking Heads tonight."
All remained dates on the band's European tour have since been cancelled.
