Several names have been confirmed as participating in this year's annual Barn Dance festival on April 18th including Jamie Jones, Hermitage Green, Come On Live Long, Shed, DeFeKT, Sounds of System Breakdown, Con Allen, Niall Dunne, Philip Galvin Jr and Johno.

Barn Dance VII takes place, as always, in a completely secret location "when all other doors are shut and prohibition takes hold come away with us to our magical world...."

Voted No. 1 DJ in the world by Resident Advisor and widely regarded as the leader of the new sound of house, Jamie Jones will take a headline slot at this year’s BYOB festival. In a short time, he has catapulted himself to stardom by shattering the invisible confines of genres, and breaking out of the minimal techno motif. rom house to folk rock, Hermitage Green will be bringing their unique sound to Barn Dance for the very first time, as are Ireland’s first and only New Orleans style brass band Booka Brass Band. Widely claimed as ‘ones to watch’ Come On Live Long have been building up quite a reputation with their debut album and live show which includes a mix of acoustic, electric and sampled instruments creating their unique sound. Not one to follow shallow trends of techno, Shed will make you feel like you’re experiencing the nightlife of Berlin first-hand; a red hot warm up set from DeFeKT all wrapped up with the electronic musings of Sounds of System Breakdown will tie the ever expanding line-up together perfectly.

In keeping with the Barn Dance style, buses will once again be transporting festival goers from Custom House Quay in Dublin and Carrickmines but this year will see the addition of special Barn Dance Express trains. The private trains which will run from Connolly Station, Dublin to the Barn Dance secret venue. Transport tickets go on sale today and are available here www.barndance.ie/tickets---info.html .
