Folk troubadour Loudon Wainwright III will play three dates in Kilkenny this coming August.

Also known as the father of Rufus and Martha, the musician will play the dates as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival, bringing the European premiere of his new one-man show 'Surviving Twin' to the Marble City on August 12th, 13th and 14th.

The show is an exploration of his relationship with his father Loudon Wainwright Jr., who was an award-winning journalist, that "explores everything from pet ownership and fashion to birth, parenthood and loss."
