Lorde has apologised for comments that she made in relation to her friend, pop star Taylor Swift.
As we told you earlier today, the Kiwi pop star described maintaining a friendship with Swift as being "like having a friend with an autoimmune disease" in an interview with The Guardian that was published at the weekend.
As other media outlets began to pick up on the comments and they were shared around online, Lorde - real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor - took to Twitter to apologise for being 'insensitive'.
