Live At Leopardstown announces summer music programme
For nine evenings throughout the summer months Leopardstown Racecourse will host a series of gigs in conjunction with food stalls and, of course, horse racing.
The following bands have been announced thus far to play in Leopardstown's brand new Big Top.
Friday June 8: Bipolar Empire with support from The Would Be’s
Thursday June 14: The Original Rudeboys plus Ireland v Spain on the big screen
Thursday June 21: The Walls and The Frank & Walters
Thursday July 5: Kila with support from The Raglans
Thursday July 12: Jape and Fred
Thursday July 19: Royseven with support from Keywest
Thursday July 26: The Minutes with support from Dead School
Thursday August 9: Ryan Sheridan with support from The Kanyu Tree
Thursday August 16: The Saw Doctors
Ciaran Conway, Commercial Manager at Leopardstown, said: "Now in its fourth year, we’re proud that LIVE AT LEOPARDSTOWN has enabled many people to experience racing for the first time. We are delighted to enhance the customer experience by hosting all our concerts under canvas in the Leopardstown Big Top. For 2012, we’ve added top class support acts to further enhance the music element of the festival."
Racing kicks off between 5.30pm and 6.00pm and finishes up in time for the live music to commence between 8.30pm and 9.00pm.
Tickets are available from usual outlets nationwide.
