It feels like it's been a fixture on Dublin's music scene forever, but The Workman's Club celebrates five years in business next month.

To celebrate, the venue is throwing a week-long birthday bash from September 8th - 12th that will see a variety of special music, comedy and club nights take over the Wellington Quay building.

Tuesday, September 8th - comedian Al Porter followed by a DJ set by Edward Porter (Leaders of Men)

Wednesday, September 9th - The Hot Sprockets live, followed by indie club night Somewhere?

Thursday, September 10th - Heineken Sound Atlas presents Little Green Cars with support from Other Creatures

Friday, September 11th - Heineken Sound Atlas presents Little Green Cars with support from Bleeding Heart Pigeons

Saturday, September 12th - Eternal Summers with support from Pleasure Beach

Tickets for each show are just €5 each and they're all on sale this Monday, August 24th from www.theworkmansclub.com at 9am.
