A new music festival is to be held at Ballymaloe Grainstore in Co. Cork at the end of June.

More accurately, it's called the 'Ballymaloe Malt & Music Weekend' and will take place under the shelter of The Big Shed on the grounds of Ballymaloe House in Shanagarry, East Cork from June 30th - July 2nd.

Jerry Fish will headline on June 30th, while Little Green Cars will headline on July 1st.

Other acts on the bill include Hurricane Highway, Shookrah, The Niall McCabe Band, Hank Wedel, One Horse Pony and burlesque performer Foxy P. Cox, along with a Soul Funktion set by DJ Dr. Quigley.

A number of craft brewers will be on hand to provide the refreshments, including Irish brewers Lough Gill; 12 Acres; Blacks of Kinsale; Stonewell Cider; 8 Degrees; Rascals; Arthurstown; 9 White Deer and a selection of Irish gins and whiskies, as well as various food stands and options across the weekend.

There'll also be a children's area, and children under 12 are free and welcome on-site until 9pm each day. Parking is free and tickets range from €10 for a Sunday ticket to €56 for an all-weekend pass. See www.ballymaloefestivals.ie for a complete schedule and to book.
