Little Green Cars, Kodaline shortlisted for BBC's Sound of 2013
Irish bands Little Green Cars and Kodaline are among the nominations for the BBCs annual Sound of 2013 award. The list is compiled by music industry figures with the intention of predicting which bands will make an impact on the music landscape over the course of the next year. The shortlist will be pruned down to five in January, with a final winner be announced shortly after that.
Last year's winner was Michael Kiwanuka, whose album Home Again was one of our favourites of the year. Other previous winners include Adele, Jessie J and Ellie Goulding.
