Two bands who were particularly high up the bill at Electric Picnic recently were Irish acts Kodaline and Little Green Cars, bands who've enjoyed a tremendously successful time of it over the last twelve months or so and both have just announced details for Irish headline gigs in the next few months.

First up is Little Green Cars who will play a pre-Christmas show at Vicar Street on Saturday December 7th, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 9am priced at €18.50. The band's debut album Absolute Zero has enjoyed considerable success and has catapulted them to success at home, and particularly Stateside, where they've featured at Lollapalooza and Coachella, among other festivals.

Kodaline will play their biggest Irish show to date when they take to the stage in Dublin's O2 on St. Patrick's Eve next. Having enjoyed an equally successful first year in the limelight as Little Green Cars, as evidenced by their main stage slot at Electric Picnic a couple of weekends ago.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 9am and will cost you €30.
