Listen to She & Him: Volume Two for free
16 March 2010Oh, Zooey. Ms Deschanel and musical counterpart M.Ward, collectively known as She & Him, are set to release their second album, Volume Two, in early April and NPR are hosting the album in its entirely here if you want to listen for free.
Zooey Deschanel, who you've seen in films like Almost Famous, Elf and 500 Days of Summer, has become something of a darling to indie musos the world over who've become enamoured with her image and Linda Ronstadt-like singing voice. Deschanel and Ward's first effort, imaginatively titled Volume One, was a good if somewhat unspectacular effort but definitely piqued the interest of many ensuring there'll be a plenty of music fans (and teenagers with puppy dog crushes) wanting to hear this.
