If you were at Vicar Street a couple of years ago on New Year's Eve, you may have already heard this. For everyone else, it's a treat.

Conor O'Brien of Villagers partook in the Turning Pirate Mix Tape gig in 2014, which sees a rotating cast of musicians playing their own songs and throwing in a few covers for good measure.

O'Brien has just shared the audio footage of him performing 'Nobody Does It Better', which was sung by Carly Simon, taken from the soundtrack of Bond film 'The Spy Who Loved Me' and is, by all accounts, one of his favourite songs.

To say that he knocks it out of the park - with a little help from an excellent backing band - is an understatement.
