It certainly feels like winter in most parts of the country, with a definite nip in the air and frost on the ground this morning.

Just as well, then, that we have the perfect song to warm you up, thanks to Wyvern Lingo.

The Wicklow trio have just revealed their latest track - which was first recorded in 2014 - but the new version has been re-recorded and produced by Irish producer WIFE aka James Kelly.

“Snow II is partly written as a response to Simon and Garfunkel's 'I Am A Rock'," said band member Caoimhe Barry. "It’s from the perspective of the person trying to reach an ex lover who is in that dark place, cutting themselves off from the world.”

The band release their long-awaited debut album next year (and play Dublin's Button Factory on February 23rd) and this harmony- and groove-laden track is undoubtedly a nice taster for it.
