The Jesus and Mary Chain first came to prominence in the early 1980s, with albums like Psychocandy and Darklands definining their pioneering noise-rock, shoegaze sound.

The Reid brothers eventually split after releasing their last album 'Munki' in 1998, and although they reformed in 2007 and have played live sporadically since, new material has been thin on the ground. Their only release since 2007 has been one song, 'All Things Must Pass', recorded for TV show Heroes in 2008.

Now, however, the Scottish band are readying their new album 'Damage and Joy' in March 2017, and have made the first song from it available online.
