It may remain Sinead O'Connor's best-known song, 28 years after the Dublin singer released it - but as you may know (handy one in the music round of a pub quiz), Nothing Compares 2 U was originally written by Prince.
Now, Prince's estate have released the original studio recording of the song, recorded by him in 1984 and years before he began performing it live.
The song was composed, arranged and performed entirely by Prince - apart from the backing vocals - and was discovered accidentally several weeks ago by his official Vault Archivist, who digitised it.
